What is Ynnä?
Ynnä is the student organization for students in mathematics, information technology and physics in University of Jyväskylä. Ynnä offers to its members study, social, and cultural services. One of the most important goals has been to improve the studying conditions and contribution of students at the departments and in the university administration. An example is the student representation in the university administrative bodies.
The most known part of Ynnä´s work is the arranging of parties, sauna nights, clubs, excursions to culture and sport events.
How to join You can become a member of Ynnä if you study mathematics, computer science or physics as major in the University of Jyväskylä. Students of other subjects can join as outside members. You can join by paying the member fee which is currently 5€. When you pay the fee you get a Ynnä sticker for your student card, which guarantees members’ benefits for the rest of your studies.
Students´ coffee roomStudents´ coffee room is situated in department of mathematics in room MaD241. Here you can come to get socialized, buy cloth badges for you student overalls, sign up events or just hang around. You are always welcome to come spend your time with us!
